Nurse Manager – Medicine

HRIS is hiring on behalf of our valued client for the position of Nurse Manager – Medicine. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for the medicine service line, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and quality standards while driving operational efficiency and service excellence.

The Nurse Manager will work closely with the Service Line Chief to enhance patient outcomes, optimize performance indicators, and strengthen clinical governance across inpatient medicine services.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations
Ensure efficient medicine workflows across inpatient care with a strong focus on patient safety.
Oversee bed management, resource allocation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Monitor infection control practices and medication administration compliance.
Conduct audits and performance reviews to improve patient flow and clinical outcomes.

Strategic Planning & Performance Management
Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with hospital objectives.
Monitor KPIs including Average Length of Stay, Readmission Rates, and Patient Satisfaction (target up to 95%).
Analyze service line performance data to guide operational and financial improvements.
Policy, Compliance & Quality Improvement
Develop and review policies and procedures for medicine care delivery.
Ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional quality standards.
Lead quality initiatives focused on patient safety and zero sentinel events.
Collaborate with accreditation and quality teams to maintain audit readiness.

Clinical Pathway & Staff Development
Contribute to evidence-based clinical pathway development.
Mentor nursing staff and promote continuous professional development.
Conduct competency assessments and encourage certification programs.

Experience Requirements
10–15 years of progressive experience in medical nursing
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a medicine department or inpatient services.
