Reporting to: Technical Lead Family Planning
Job Summary: Ensure compliance with National Family Planning (FP) standards, maintaining the quality and effectiveness of FP services within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Oversight:
Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular evaluations of clinical processes and documentation.
Collaborate with teams for improvements and corrective actions.
Promote a culture of open and blame-free incident reporting.
Ensure patient safety through coordination with healthcare staff.
Implement proactive risk management strategies.
Evaluate and improve patient satisfaction.
Foster a quality management culture within the organization.
Ensure consistent quality and patient safety across all FP centers.
Ensure compliance with national FP standards.
Conduct refresher training on FP standards.
Ensure adherence to infection prevention guidelines.
Reporting:
Analyze service delivery and patient outcome data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and present quality assurance reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Use data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Assist in preparing periodic reports for management and donors.
Develop and share a monthly report.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.
Update policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks to quality and safety in FP services.
Investigate and address incidents, complaints, and adverse events.
Staff Capacity Development:
Conduct FP orientation and on-the-job training for new team members.
Provide periodic refresher training for existing staff to ensure up-to-date knowledge and continuous professional development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, healthcare administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a healthcare or family planning setting.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing family planning services, including HIPAA, Title X, and state-specific regulations.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
